Colour scheme for BBC's new headquarters in Salford

Studio Meda collaborated with artist Toby Paterson to create a comprehensive colour concept for the exterior and interior of BBC's new headquarters in Salford. Resisting the obvious notion of assigning three distinctly different colours to three buildings, the proposal was to colour the roof canopies in three shades of light blue and the base in a strong orange brown.

The external colours have been installed.
